When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing
Hanging out with my rad wife and daughter.
Who are your biggest influences
What mediums do you enjoy working in?
Acrylic paint and wooooooooood.
Anything else you want to tell?
My biggest influence have always been old cartoons, but I think I am a product of my time too. The skateboard, graffiti, and general street culture has shaped my art in ways I can't really fathom. Thank you skateboard for being there when no one else was.
Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently
1980, USA, California
What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures
It was never something I didn't do. I can't express how thankful I am for it.
Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding
I had a bird when I was 14 my brother and I named Tony Hawk. I grew up in Las Vegas and skated so much as a kid, but I never really got better. It was a lot of fun though. I remember as young as 8 or 9 going into my local skateboard shops and marveling at all the graphics on the boards.
I really dig the Clayton Brothers, but Femke Hiemstra has been making some pretty awesome work lately too.
