When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing
I work as a tattoo artist so when I'm not painting or drawing that takes up most of my time. Music has always been a passion that comes close to art for me. I have a group of guys that I've been playing in different bands with for a long time and we still get together and make noise when we can.
Who are your biggest influences
Everyone and everything around me influence me.
What mediums do you enjoy working in?
When I first got into painting it was all watercolor, but lately I've mainly been using acrylic. But sometimes it's nice to get back to sketching with graphite and ink.
Anything else you want to tell?
Just a big thank you to ArtDeckCo, I'm excited to be a part of this.
Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently
I was born on August 29th, 1977 in the bustling metropolis of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and it's currently where I work and live.
What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures
According to my parents, I've been doodling ever since I could hold a pencil. Being able get the things going on in my brain down on paper drew me in. I became addicted and it's all I ever wanted to do.
Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding
I got into skateboarding when I was younger and a good group of friends and I skated together for a long time. As I got older I figured it might be a little safer to longboard, so now I do that when I can. I was blown away by Christian Hosoi and Tony Hawk when I was a kid. I don't pay as much attention anymore, but still see amazing things from Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, and Kilian Martin. .
