Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently?

I was born in 1974, in Canada, where I currently live.

What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures?

I don't draw very well at all, which is why I chose collage.  I suppose I learned collage from old punk rock flyers and the great Winston Smith Dead Kennedys album covers.

Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding?

I have many favourite skaters, mostly real old school guys, like Duane Peters or The Gonz, but the kids are blowing my mind these days.  I'm old and injured and don't skate anymore, but I did a lot when I was younger.  I guess that's another reason why I make art on skateboards; I never really got over it.  It will always be a part of me.

Who is your favorite artist, living or dead?

Some of my favourite artists include Salvador Dali, H.R. Giger, Robert Williams, Pancreas Supervisor, Hunter S. Thompson, William S. Burroughs, Harmony Korine, David Lynch, Werner Herzog, and the Melvins.

When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing?

I'm always working on art of some sort, but when I'm not, I'm usually watching some crazy tv show or movie with my fiancee.

Who are your biggest influences?

My biggest influences are movies and music.  I watch a lot of horror movies and documentaries, mostly.  I've been into punk rock for most of my life.  When I work on art, I usually throw some music on or put on a ball game.  I like a lot of powerviolence and doom metal.  They seem to put me in the right mood.

What mediums do you enjoy working in?

I've tried many different mediums.  I thought I was a writer for a decade or so.  I've tried painting and film making too.  But collage is where it's at for me.  Almost everything I do starts with a pair of scissors and a magazine.  I'm also a known street/sticker artist, under an assumed name.  I regularly contribute to sticker shows all over the world.

Anything else you want to tell?

The easiest way to see my work is to go to my facebook page.  I post everything there, sometimes moments after I complete a new piece.  I absolutely love what I do and I hope that you do too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seanfuckinggammon
