When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing
I work in graphic design Monday through Friday. In my off time i'm either skating, Painting, or woodworking.
Who are your biggest influences
My biggest influences are the kind people that never stop working and who do what they want to do for a living. To all the skateboarders artists or really what ever it may be that still enjoy their childhood passions and help to keep the industry they work in alive.
What mediums do you enjoy working in?
I love experimenting with several mediums, but im currently stuck in a woodburning faze. I grew up only using acrylic and wanted to get out of that medium for awhile. Ever since it has mainly been a mixture of wood (recycled skateboard) as well as watercolor. Anything that gives off more of a natural look.
Anything else you want to tell?
Enjoy what it is that makes you happy and run with it!!!!

Medium Used: Woodburning pen on blank deck
Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently
I was born in Redwood City Ca and currently live in Emerald Hills CA.
What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures
I have always needed an outlet for my amount of energy as a child. First came artwork and was soon followed by skateboard. I have now figured a way that I can create things while incorporating both passions.
Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding
I cant say that I have a favorite skateboarder, but I grew up in the 90's and was influenced by several people during that time period. .
There are so many artists today that are blowing me away with their work. I really dig what the further crew out of sf is doing. Mars 1, Damon Soule, and Nome Edonna and several others. Being from a skateboarding past I also have to give it up for Bradtrud, Fish, Sieben, and all the others that are keeping illustration nice and weird.
