1977. US. Utah. Portland, OR.



What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures?


It just came second hand. My parents tell me I was obsessed with drawing before could even walk.



Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding?


When I was younger it was Tommy Guerrero. I started skateboarding more seriously when I was 10 years old. I've had a handfull of decks made with my art on it, most recently for CODA Skatebards, and my art was featured in Thrasher Magazine for the October 2012 issue



Who is your favorite artist, living or dead?


I don't really have a favorite but some influences growing up were Bosch, Dalí, Krasimir Bezinski ,and Dürer. Also early 20th century story book illustrators like Sidney Sime, Harry Clarke, and Arthur Rackham. Curent artists include James Jean, Josh Keyes, and Tiffany Bozic


When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing?


Playing music, collecting records, being outdoors, good conversation.

What mediums do you enjoy working in?


I used to work mostly in oils, then for a few years it was mostly in gouache, now I'm shifting to acrylics. I think my most comfortable medium is still the graphite pencil though.
