When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing?
Sounds cheesy, but going for hikes, biking on the trail, and meditation.
Who are your biggest influences?
Family wise it would be my Grandparents, because they raised me. They are from the WW2 generation, so i grew up with those ideals and sensibilities. Most of the artist that inspire me are my friends. I like to know the whole story of an artist on a more personal level. You'll only be able to know their day to day challenges, their character/ attitude, work ethic, and what truly motivates them to create if you know them personally. My friends that create art inspire me to no end.
What mediums do you enjoy working in?
I like to mix my mediums, so the quick answer would be "ALL," but I tend to use pen and ink a lot when I draw. I also spent a good amount of time working in watercolors a couple of years back.
Anything else you want to tell?
Thanks for having me be a part of this. I had fun creating this image.
Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently?
I was born in Jacksonville, FL, but I did not grow up there. I've mostly lived in the Bay Area. I currently live in Pleasant Hill, CA.
What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures?
Ha! not sure if the pictures I draw should be described as pretty:) I was told it was one of those things my parents had me do to calm my hyperactivity as a kid.
Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding?
I skated hardcore for about 5 years from middle school up to high school. That was during the time of the Bones Brigade. My favorite skater at the time was Lance Mountain, because of his goofy/ carefree approach to riding. I still skate now a days, but it's more to get from one place to another.
