Anderson

Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently

I was born in a sleepy little town called Bluffton, Indiana... I know reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Which is the 2nd largest city in Indiana and also referred to the City of Churches and Strip Clubs... I may have made part of that up.

What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures

I've always drawn. Apparently, my grandfather, who I've never met, my father's father was a well known painter in the Blackford County area and has several paintings hanging in local churches in the area, which I've never seen. Once I started to become a music promoter in Fort Wayne I needed to be able to create unique posters for shows and started using my drawings for just such a thing.

Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding

I don't really have a favorite skateboarder, but I can play a mean game of Tony Hawk Pro Skater. The original on the first Playstation...

Who is your favorite artist, living or dead?

I'm inspired by a lot of people, I'm friends with a lot of local tattoo artists and they're amazing. There are a number of talented graphic designers in Fort Wayne that inspire me as well, One Lucky Guitar, Good Stuff Design and Fort Waste Industries just to name my top faves. My all time favorite graphic artist though is Keith Neltner with Neltner Small Batch outta Kentucky.

.

When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing

Hanging with my daughter, Ilah. Playing in my band, White Trash Blues Revival. Promoting local, regional, national and international bands in Fort Wayne. Or paying the bills by being a bouncer at the Brass Rail.

Who are your biggest influences

Well, I guess I answered this question on number 4, eh?

What mediums do you enjoy working in?

Photoshop and Illustrator. I don't do much fine arts, I'm mostly a graphic designer but occasionally I dabble in some acrylic paints... I tend to wear more as body paint than I get on a canvas.
