When you're not creating amazing works of art, what do you enjoy doing
I still try to skate, but getting hurt kinda sucks now. I ride my bike, work on my house with my wife, watch movies with my wife, hang out in my friends' workshop, babysit my nephew.
Who are your biggest influences
My wife keeps me very motivated. She works hard and it inspires me. My dad is a furniture maker who is in his shop 7 days a week. He really loves what he does and that's all I want too.
What mediums do you enjoy working in?
My favorite is Sharpie and Copic markers on paper. I enjoy painting with watercolors and acrylics too, but painting takes more patience which can be difficult for me to find.
Anything else you want to tell?
I have a visual media company with my partner Joshua Wann. He's a video maker, and I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. We collaborate when we can, and otherwise just serve as a sounding board for each other's work.
Where were you born? Year, Country, State. Where do you live currently
I was born in 1983 in Lansdale, PA. I currently reside in Philadelphia.
What initially drew you to drawing pretty pictures
I drew a lot in high school. Art class was my main focus. In college I transitioned into making jewelry and sculpture. A couple years after college I came back to drawing after I realized all my favorite artists were painters and illustrators.
Who is your favorite skateboarder, living or dead? Any ties to skateboarding
My favorite all time is Jamie Thomas. I grew up skateboarding and was always drawn to him and looked up to him.
Who is your favorite artist, living or dead?
My favorite all time artist is Aesop Rock, a rapper/producer. I have a lot of favorite visual artists, but I can't pick a #1 favorite.
